The American Indian Experience, 1500–2013

This is a 45-minute video lesson, offered for free classroom use. The video shows author Michael Fitzgerald giving this lesson to a class at Culver Academies in Culver, Indiana in 2013. The lesson focuses on the history of the contacts Native American tribes had with European and American settlers and with the US governments over many generations. It includes video of the presenter, textual slides, and videos of Native American elders. The lesson is intended for advanced middle-school or high-school classes.
