Patrick Laude discusses the intended audience for Frithjof Schuon’s writings

Philosopher, writer, editor, and educator Patrick Laude says that philosopher and metaphysician wrote for people attracted to metaphysics and profound thought and for people who are convinced of the exclusive truth of their own religions. Prof. Laude mentions Schuon’s own comment that he would consider himself successful (as a writer) if his work had led even just a few people to rediscover the primacy of prayer.
