The late Jean-Louis Michon recalls how Martin Lings introduced him to René Guénon (Shaykh Abdul Wahid) in 1947 in Cairo. Dr. Michon also recalls the beautiful surroundings of the little village near the pyramids in Giza where Lings lived at that time and goes on to discuss Lings’ role as a private secretary for Guénon.
