Long Description: In March-April when the full moon is usually conjoined with the asterism Uttara-Phalguni, the marriage of Andal (qv) and Ranganatha (Visnu) is ceremonially conducted at her birthplace, Srivilliputtur. It is also a festive day in Siva temples where the marriage of Siva and Parvati is performed.
