Long Description: The five sheaths; Vedānta teaches that the Supreme Self in manifesting itself in a jīvātman becomes enveloped in a series of five sheaths, namely: ānandamaya-kośa, vijñānamayakośa, manomaya-kośa, prānamaya-kośa and annamaya-kośa.
