Rohit Dalvi

Rohit Dalvi was educated at Pune University (India) where he was awarded the BA and MA degress. Subsequently he studied at SUNY Binghamton where he pursued a Masters in Philosophy with an emphasis on Contemporary French Philosophy. His research interests took him to France where he did further work on Contemporary French Philosophy. While in France he was exposed to current research on Indian Metaphysics. Stimulated by this research, he then returned to the United States to the University of Hawaii where he received his doctorate. Dr. Dalvi is currently teaching at Brock University, Canada. Dr. Dalvi co-edited with Eliot Deutsch the new edition of The Essential Vedanta: A New Source Book of Advaita Vedanta.
