
Kiyozawa Manshi
Kiyozawa Manshi (1863-1901) was an influential writer on Japanese Shin Buddhist in the late nineteenth century. Rev. Manshi’s emphasis on the universality of Shin Buddhism appealed to many both in Japan and in the places to which Shin had spread.
Rev. Kiyozawa Manshi contributed the essays “The Great Path of Absolute Other Power” and “My Faith” to Living in Amida’s Universal Vow, edited by Alfred Bloom.
